Pak Opposition Says Won’t Leave Parliament, Government Violated Constitution
The vote of no confidence against the government of Imran Khan was rejected for reasons of national security
Pakistan People’s Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said today that the Opposition Front in Pakistan will proceed to sit in parliament until a vote of no confidence against Imran Khan’s government is held.
Taking to Twitter after the Deputy Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Qasim Suri, rejected a vote of no confidence on grounds of national security, Bhutto Zardari tweeted, “The government has violated the constitution. Voting is not allowed. no confidence. The united opposition will not leave parliament.Our attorneys are on their way to the Supreme Court.We call on ALL organizations to defend, uphold, defend and enforce Pakistani constitutional exam.”
