Peloton adds $3,195 rowing machine to fitness equipment lineup

Peloton is adding rowing machines to its product line as it restructures to expand its customer base and turn a profit.

The exercise machine maker on Tuesday said it’s launching the Peloton Row, which starts at $3,195 and is now available for pre-order on its website. Deliveries are expected to begin in December.

Rowing Machine, which also requires a $44 a month membership to Peloton exercise programs and classes, joins the lineup of Peloton Bike, Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread and Peloton Guide, a system A training system that uses a camera to track a person’s movements.

Peloton goods, supposed to have been active for a whileoccurred as the company was undergoing restructuring in recent months.

The company has also announced a partnership with Amazon arrive started selling its products about the giant e-commerce retailer, a move that could help Peloton expand its customer base. The partnership is Peloton’s first foray outside of its core direct-to-consumer business.

Peloton is also beginning to change its leadership role. One week ago, company announced Co-founder and former chief executive officer John Foley, co-founder and chief legal officer Hisao Kushi and Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Cornils will leave the company as part of the transition.

Foley had been the CEO of Peloton for about 10 years before he step down in February.
