Sony has revealed the games that will be added to its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, and for PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers, it will be a month that will see one of the best action games ever. The most recent memory joins the service. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition leads the way in new offerings, bringing Capcom’s demon-slaying game to PS5.
Continuing Devil May Cry’s long tradition of playing only Vergil in the updated version, this version also boasts improved graphics and more challenging game modes. Vergil has its own story mode, though it’s mostly a remix of Nero’s quests with different groups of enemies. If you feel up for the challenge, you can also tackle the legendary Dark Knight Mode, which throws loads of enemies at you.
Other additions to the PS Plus library include one of the best fighting games of all time, Dragon Ball FighterZ, the spiritual heir to Left 4 Dead Back 4 Blood, and the critically-acclaimed episodic adventure high price Life is Strange. Jett: The Far Shore is an interstellar space travel with a unique soundtrack that creates a meditative experience and Just Cause 4: Reloaded is a pretty good sandbox in which you overthrow a corrupt regime explosively.
If you want more brain tempo, Erica is worth a try. An interactive and live-action thriller, Erica blends murder, childhood trauma and gruesome detective work together to create a compelling story. For fans of the classic style, the upcoming PlayStation Classics for Premium subscribers includes an enhanced version of Siphon Filter 3, the Star Wars Demolition race of destruction, and Hot Shots Golf 2. Each game all of these are updated with quality-of-life features, such as enhanced render, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.
PlayStation Plus members can also get free games for januaryincluding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76.
