Pokemon Go introduces new Pokemon XXS and XXL variants

Pokemon Go players will soon have another way to catch unique Pokemon, as Niantic has announced the addition of Pokemon XXS and XXL to the mix.
Two new Pokemon sizes will be introduced with the three starting Pokemon: Poochyena, Mightyena, and Mawile. Encounters with special-sized Pokemon will be different from normal encounters, and Pokedex items will now track additional sizes as they are captured.

Players who create XXS or XXL Pokemon for you in their game will see a difference in the size of the Pokemon on screen. Additionally, the game will now offer congratulatory messages to players who have set a new record for the size of Pokemon they change—one for the smallest child ever and one for oldest child.
New mechanic appeared after Niantic detailed plans for Pokemon Go throughout Decemberwhich includes a two-part Winter Break event that wraps up Winter Wonderland celebrations on December 24-25. The company also announced the first details for Pokemon Tour 2023 the event will take place live at Las Vegas’ Sunset Park in February.
Pokemon Go is available to download for free on iOS and mobile devices.
