Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend this year’s BAFTA Awards

After a few years of absence from the BAFTA red carpet, Prince William And Kate Middleton will be at the Royal Festival Hall to honor the best of British film and television on 19 February. Diversity reports that the couple’s attendance has only been confirmed in the past few days, adding that they will watch the show from the audience before meeting the performers and winners backstage. This year’s nominations include Cate Blanchett, who was a member of the Earthshot Prize committee along with William.
He and Kate have been frequent appearances on the BAFTA red carpet over the past decade, but their last appearance at the ceremony took place on March 10. The news comes just days after a source close to the royal family told Everybody that William was still upset with his brother after the revelations in the memoir, Preventive. The source said: ‘William is the most upset and needs time to calm down.
