Oof, it’s not a good look to take care of the whole Baby Archie skin color problem…
On Tuesday, Queen Camila hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to raise awareness of domestic abuse and violence against women. Unfortunately, it seems to have raised awareness of something entirely different – a continuum of what one might call philanthropy. racial insensitivity.
One of the guests for the reception was Ngozi FulaniLondon’s CEO Sistah space — a nonprofit organization that helps Black women affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse. She should have been honored at the event, along with all the other charities. Instead, she was mortified.
In a tweet posted early Wednesday morning local time, Ngozi revealed that just minutes after she arrived, “an employee” touched her hair to move it to see her name tag. . Wasn’t fine. But then, the woman she identified as “Lady SH” — obviously alluding to Lady Susan Hussey – ask where she comes from. When Fulani explained which charity she works with, Hussey allegedly asked:
“No, where are you from?”
And as the philanthropist tries to keep the convoy focused on the charity, letting her know the neighborhood where the charity operates, the woman is waiting. Queen Elizabeth II squeeze:
“Which part of Africa are you from?”
YES. She won’t let it go either. Fulani said when she explained that she was a British citizen born in the UK, Hussey aptly quipped:
“No, but where do you really come from, where do your people come from?”
It doesn’t even stop there! She won’t let go until she knows where her parents come from. Seriously, WTF! Read the full account (below):
Mixed feelings about yesterday’s visit to Buckingham Palace. 10 minutes after arriving, a staff member, Lady SH, approached me and pulled my hair up to see my name tag. The following conversation took place. The rest of the event is a blur.

Does all this sound a little too familiar?
Yes, not long ago Prince Harry and Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey An unnamed Royal was too concerned about the skin color of their unborn child. There was some response to their accusations, but this incident seems to fit perfectly with their description of the Palace. In fact, Camilla herself has been named by at least one author as the one who made everything racist. Considering Susan was Camilla’s close aide, that didn’t seem good at all.
As you can imagine, the Company is NOT happy about history repeating itself, this time with an outside witness who didn’t hesitate to declare his account immediately! So they acted immediately.
In a statement on Wednesday, just hours after the post, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace revealed an investigation was underway and Lady Susan had resigned. They said:
“We take this incident extremely seriously and investigated immediately to establish full details. In this case, unacceptable and deeply regrettable comments were made. We have reached out to Ngozi Fulani regarding this matter and have invited her to discuss all elements of her experience directly if she wishes.”
The statement continues:
“In the meantime, the individual concerned wishes to express his deep apologies for the harm caused and has immediately renounced his honorable role. All members of the Household are being reminded of the diversity and inclusion policies they must maintain at all times.”
Sounds like King Charles would love to make his reign less of a problem. But good luck when you have all those people with this old-fashioned view of the race.
Lady Susan was one of Elizabeth’s good friends and more than a handmaid, she was known by the nickname “Top Girl Number One”. In fact, she was honored to be named Prince WilliamIts godmother! Oh.
About William, spokesman for the new Prince of Wales and his wife Princess Catherineaka Kate Middletonon behalf of the couple said:
“I am truly disappointed to hear about the guest experience at Buckingham Palace last night. Obviously I’m not there, but racism has no place in our society. The comments were unacceptable, and it is true that the individual stepped aside with immediate effect.”
The spokesperson added that William, who on a plane to America when news of the incident came out, he knew and supported the overthrow of his godmother. Oh!
Lady Susan may be gone, but the damage done to the Royal Household is done, isn’t it? DO YOU think this reinforces Harry and Meghan’s claims about the Palace’s outdated view of the race??
