Actor Cochin Haneefa passed away on February 2, 2010 and was laid to rest with full state titles at Central Juma Masjid in Ernakulam. Having acted in over 300 Malayalam films, Cochin Haneefa is still alive in everyone’s memory through his amazing performances as the characters Haidrose in ‘Kireedam’, Gangadharan in ‘Punjabi’ House’, Eldho from ‘Mannar Mathai Speaking’ and some other characters.
