Respawn Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Apex Legends Mobilea version of the studio’s free-to-play hero-battle royale shooter designed specifically for mobile devices, set for a limited regional launch, expected to take place on Spring starts next week.
As part of a limited launch, Apex Legends Mobile will be available to play on Android and iOS in 10 countries; Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia. This follows a small beta test of the game last spring for India and the Philippines.
During the limited region launch, players will be able to play as Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic. Respawn promises to deliver more systems and content for the game’s global launch. As for when the global launch might be, Respawn said, “We will share updates on the global launch once we make an informed decision about the limited regional launch.” .
Apex Legends Mobile there will be no crossplay with console or PC version of Apex Legends.
