The cricketer suffered injuries to his back, forehead and leg and was taken to MAX hospital in Dehradun.
According to SK Singh, Chief of Police, Haridwar (Rural), Pant fell asleep while driving his vehicle.
“He was going to Roorkee to see his relatives. The accident happened because he fell asleep at the wheel a kilometer away from Narsan towards Roorkee,” SK Singh told ANI.

According to hospital officials, Pant’s condition is stable.
“Cricketer Rishabh Pant is being monitored by orthopedic and plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. Detailed medical bulletin will be released once he is examined. Then we will. will take the next steps,” said Dr. Ashish Yagnik, Max Hospital, Dehradun.
Pant was alone in his car when he was involved in an accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

Pant has been dropped from the upcoming limited series against Sri Lanka. The stumbling star played a key role in India’s two-time test series victory over Bangladesh. Pant scored a winning knockout of 93 in the Second Test in Mirpur.
Pant has scored 2,271 runs in 33 Tests so far with the help of 5th 11th 50th. He has also represented the country in 30 ODI and 66 T20I.
