My husband and I absolutely love the Proper Hotel in Santa Monica, so when we heard that our favorite hotel was opening a new location in downtown Los Angeles, we had to come check it out!
Let me tell you, it certainly doesn’t disappoint! The hotel is gorgeous, the decor is absolutely mesmerizing, and the rooftop Cara Cara restaurant is an absolute must!
The skyline views are stunning, the spacious dining area is chic and the food is amazing. We ordered the Cara Cara Cobb Salad and Shrimp Tacos, and both of our dishes were delicious!
Then we had drinks by the fire pit in the lower lounge. Normally, we like cool, refreshing cocktails, so we ordered the Cucumber Gimlet and the Salt of the Earth, and they were both great. Fresh, crispy and full of flavor!
