Last Friday, the ETimes paparazzi caught the couple at a family court in Bandra. A source from the family court told ETimes, “Sohail Khan and Seema Sachdev appeared in court today. They filed for divorce. Both are friendly with each other. ” Previously, Seema had hinted at the status of her relationship with Land Khan told ETimes and declared: “I’m single, I like freedom and I like freedom.”
Sohail and Seema were married in 1998 and have two children, Nirvaan and Yohan. Their interfaith marriage was met with strong opposition from the Seema family and the duo had to run away to get married. In 2017, on the web show ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’, it was revealed that Seema and Sohail were living separately and their children were between the two houses. Talking about their romance, Seema said on the show, “It’s just that sometimes as you get older, your relationships turn around and go in different directions. I’m not sorry about that because we’re happy and my kids are happy. Sohail and I are not an ordinary marriage, we are a family. We are one unit. To us, he and I and our children matter at the end of the day. ”
