Former sex addict Belinda ‘Love’ Rygier, who slept with 700 men at the height of her compulsive spiral, has revealed the reason behind her addiction.
The star, 40, appeared on Studio 10 on Thursday to discuss the reasons behind her actions and said it was largely related to her complicated childhood.
“For me, I believe it really comes down to your attachment style from childhood,” Belinda said on the show.

‘If you have an unsafe relationship with your family. I used to be bullied in high school for being overweight,’ she added.
‘I don’t have really secure friends, I’ve always wanted to fit in. In fact, I think part of me went on The Bachelor to get that validation. To be seen, to be liked. ‘
The star ended by saying that she believes her sexual insecurities and addictions stem from her ‘marking stages’ growing up and how they shape our psyche.

Belinda has gone public about how her compulsive behavior led to her having sex with more than 700 men.
The star said she didn’t even realize she had a ‘sex addiction’ until she healed it.
“I stepped back and realized there was something I needed to transform,” she said.

Belinda said in one look back and heal her heart is when she realized she had a sex addiction.
Belinda is currently running relationship training programs to help others heal themselves.
“People think to find love, you just have to date and have chemistry, that’s it,” says Belinda.

“But there’s so much more and I think the rise in divorce is an example of this and the decline in relationships,” she added.
“People just watch Netflix and relax,” she finished.
