Sharon Osbourne not satisfied with CBS.
Many of you will probably remember, the 69-year-old man was the subject of a Heated debate on her previous daytime show, Conversation, last March. Basically, she supports you Piers Morganwho has been called racist online for exploding Meghan Markle after she revealed the Imperial racism in her interview with Oprah. See exactly what happened (below):
Sharon then took a long hiatus from the show and shortly after reports emerged accusing her of having “set to failIn the broadcast so CBS could fire the show’s longtime vet to save her expensive salary. CBS later released an official statement announcing Sharon’s departure, noting:
“As part of our review, we have concluded that Sharon’s behavior towards her funeral in the March 10 episode does not align with our values of a place. respectful work. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blinded any of the presenters.”
Now, more than a year and a half later, Sharon is figuring out what happened. In an exhibit published Wednesday, Page six revealed the British TV personality still believes that CBS actually DID played a role in the nature of the infamous broadcast, alleging it was all part of an elaborate punishment.
She explained that network executives were elated by Oprah’s 2021 interview with the estranged Royals, which aired on CBS and the head of that show. Amy Reisenbach was furious that Osbourne, a CBS employee, made little impression both privately AND publicly. Sharon notes:
“At first they were upset with me because I said [Oprah broadcast] is s**t. Only for those at the studio. I don’t feel it is genuine. I supported Piers [in defense of his] freedom of speech because he is a journalist.
“I think they were mad at me, and then when I supported Piers, it was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ and then they’re trying to bring up the issue, but by very tactfully accusing me, because I’ve supported Piers, I must be a racist because he’s racist because of you We attacked Meghan. “
She kept asking Conversation MC Kristin Matthews and late Heather Grey informed her that Reisenbach had ordered them, against their will, to smear Osbourne on national television as a reparation for her comments.
Whoa, what?! Definitely very different from what CBS said in their official statement last year! But how did the showrunners slander her??
The problem with this statement is… the controversy surrounding Sharon has little to do with her support of Piers or a negative view of Oprah – it’s all about how she composed herself on that stage! And that’s not something some CBS executives can handle, even if they’re upset with her. Sharon, we love you, but… this conversation about conspiracy theories doesn’t make sense.
Sharon is set to tackle her dramatic talk show exit in her upcoming four docuseries, Sharon Osboune: To Hell and Backairing on Fox Nation September 26th.
