Tom Moody, a former coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad, stepped down as Sri Lanka’s Cricket Manager on Tuesday. The Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Committee unanimously agreed with Tom Moody, who holds the position of Cricket Director, to withdraw from the contract immediately. Moody’s has been appointed Cricket Manager, effective 1 March 2021, based on the recommendation of the Technical Advisory Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Sri Lanka Cricket, while thanking Tom for his contributions to the game of cricket in Sri Lanka during his tenure, wish him the best for his future endeavors.
Speaking at the press conference, the former Australian player said that it is a pleasure to work with SLC and is proud of the progress he has made with the team.
“It has been a privilege to serve SLC again and I am proud of what I have achieved during my tenure with the guidance of the Technical Advisory Committee,” said Moody.
