Star Wars Jedi: Survivors will get new lightsaber stances and tame mounts

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, will include a mount, multiple lightsaber poses, and an occasional AI companion.
In an interview with game info, game director Stig Asmussen and explains the features of the upcoming Star Wars title. There are a total of five lightsabers poses, including the two swords pose and one where Cal uses both the lightsaber and the sword. A new heavy and slow style using cross lightsaber, introduced by Kylo Ren. These new poses will allow you to hit harder or from a distance, but whether you should use them depends on the enemy you’ll be facing. As Asmussen said in the interview, “it requires the player to kill enemies and figure out what the best weapon of choice is.”
Survivor will also offer more travel options, allowing for what Asmussen calls a “broader Metroidvania approach.” You can use the ascension cable to climb walls or cross gaps. You can also tame and ride mounts. According to Asmussen, players can use a variety of skills to overcome unimaginable barriers. Protagonist Cal Kestis will also get some AI help in the form of mercenary Bode Akuna, who has a brotherly relationship with the young Jedi. Akuna will help you in both combat and movement.
First gameplay trailer for Jedi: Survivor debuted at this year’s The Game Awards and revealed a release date of March 17, 2023. The game is new-generation-only, releasing on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
