Stradivarius to open at Liverpool One, joining trio of other Inditex brands
Liverpool One – Grosvenor-owned shopping mall – continues to attract big names as the post-pandemic recovery gets stronger, and the latest is by Inditex Stradivarius label.
This will be the brand’s first store in the city and will open this October.
Inditex is clearly pleased with the sales and traffic at the mall as it will also be its fourth owned brand to open there.
Stradivarius will be located on South John Street, adjacent to other Inditex chains – ZaraPull & Bear and New Top Bershka is expected to open next month.
The four stores combined will cover a large space of 53,000 square meters. The new Stradivarius will cover 8,000 square meters of it and will include the brand’s “unique” womenswear collections.
While Zara is Inditex’s best-known brand in the UK, Stradivarius is expanding gradually and now has seven stores in the UK, including those in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff, although that number is small. low compared to the global number of 925 stores. Its larger size elsewhere suggests that it has more potential in the UK, especially since many chains have closed in recent years.
The UK market has lost everything Arcadia chains, as well as stores like Warehouse, OasisKaren Millen and more as a result of the pandemic.
