The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday officially announced the match for the final clash between Pakistan and England in the framework of the ongoing T20 World Cup. England will face Pakistan in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Championships at the MCG in Melbourne on November 13, Umpires Marais Erasmus and Kumar Dharmasena will take on field duties during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Stadium (MCG). Chris Gaffaney will be the televised referee for the match while Paul Reiffel will be the fourth referee.

Speaking of the team, England are in great form, which clearly helped them knock India out in the semi-finals. They have completely beaten the Asian giants who are unlikely to knock them out of the competition, and now they will be looking forward to delivering a faltering performance against Pakistan.

On the other hand, Pakistan had a roller coaster campaign during the T20 World Cup. Pakistan’s success in the matches after conceding defeats in the opening encounters with India and Zimbabwe depends largely on their new ball-attack start. Out of all the teams that have played in this T20 World Cup, Pakistan has the second best Powerplay rate (6.19) and the average (18.58).
