Tata Motors has announced that they will end introductory pricing for the Tiago EV. Electric Hatchbacks now start from $8.69 lakh and increase $11.99 lakh so the price has increased more $20,000. Tiago EV is the fastest pre-ordered electric vehicle in India with 10,000 bookings on the first day and 20,000 bookings within a month. The brand has also started shipping the Tiago EV. Up to now, the first shipment of Tiago EV with the quantity of 2,000 units has been delivered.
The Tiago EV is offered with two battery pack options. The smaller one has a capacity of 19.2 kWh and has a claimed driving range of 250 km while the larger one uses 24 kWh and has a driving range of 315 km.

The smaller battery pack features a 45 kW electric motor that produces 110 Nm of torque. It can reach 60 km/h in 6.2 seconds. Then there is the larger battery pack which has a 55 kW electric motor that produces 114 Nm of torque and it can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
The Tiago EV is available in four variants – XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. Currently, the only rival of the Tiago EV is the Citroen eC3. However, Citroen has yet to announce the price of the eC3.
