Tesla EVs banned from entry by Chinese towns ahead of annual leadership meeting

Tesla electric vehicles have been banned from entering the Chinese coastal town of Beidaihe, which will be the venue for the annual meeting of the Chinese leadership. The annual meeting will begin on July 1 and will Go in two months. Information banning Tesla electric cars from entering the coastal town has been confirmed by an official of the Beidaihe Traffic Police Brigade and said that an official announcement will be made soon.

Restrictions on Tesla electric vehicles due to growing security concerns over cameras mounted on electric vehicles. Authorities are said to have been concerned about espionage during this annual meeting. The meeting in Beidaihe, known as the summer summit, is a traditional meeting held every year in a resort town located in Hebei province. During this meeting, Chinese leaders from previous generations talked about important domestic issues behind closed doors.

Chinese authorities have raised concerns about Tesla electric vehicles infiltrating sensitive areas such as their military facilities. They claimed in a previous report that Tesla EVs can record private and confidential information with the help of cameras already installed on electric vehicles. In light of this, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has stated that the company’s electric vehicles do not work in China or anywhere else and that if such a case comes to light, the electric vehicle company will closed operations.
