Manchester United could hire Mauricio Pochettino this summer with the Argentinian manager said to be growing increasingly frustrated with his job at Paris Saint-Germain

Pochettino has a contract with PSG for 18 more months but could cut his stay in Paris short at the end of the season, if he is not sacked first.
49 years old take over from Thomas Tuchel in January 2021 and despite being 11 points ahead of Ligue 1, he has run into many of the problems his predecessor complained about.
Pochettino’s position as PSG coach was once again under scrutiny after PSG were knocked out of the French Cup by Nice in the round of 16 on Monday night.

Le Parisien reports that PSG approached other managers last month to gauge their interest in taking over from obsessed Pochettino.
Before Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane is one of those contacted, but is said to be not ready to take the job.
One of the reasons behind Zidane’s stance is that he doesn’t want to face Real in the round of 16 Champions League at the end of this month.
Feelings of discontent are mutual between Pochettino and his club hierarchy, including sporting director Leonardo.
And things could go awry if the Argentinian doesn’t oversee a win over the Spanish giants.
After a final defeat to Bayern Munich in 2020 under Tuchel, PSG are desperate to win the Champions League and possibly fire Pochettino if he is knocked out by Real after the second leg on March 9.
That may well suit Pochettino, who is ‘fed up’ with the role, according to Mercato’s feet .

The French newspaper says that Pochettino’s time at the helm has mirrored Tuchel, with the former Spurs boss frustrated with the way the club are run.
He is said to have been irritated by his choice of play being constantly questioned by the media and annoyed with the level of his players in general.
