Toyota bZ4X electric sedan catches up to the power of Tesla Model 3

Toyota may have been slow to give wings to its electric vehicle (EV) dream, but the Japanese auto giant is now gearing up to hit the mark and hit it big. the company’s E-TNGA platform. Last year, Toyota also announced that it will offer 15 battery electric vehicle models by 2025, of which 7 will be in its bZ line of cars. And now, the automaker is getting ready to bring its next bZ model, an electric sedan that is speculated to be the Toyota bZ3.

Reports say that the Toyota bZ3 electric sedan still in concept form is expected to be introduced soon in the Chinese market, where it will compete with one of the most popular electric sedans, Tesla Model 3. Toyota plans to launch this electric sedan in Europe by 2024.

It has been suggested that the Toyota bZ3 electric sedan will come in two variants, each with a powertrain capable of generating 175 hp and 234 hp. It is also speculated that this new electric vehicle can weigh between 1710-1840 kg and can give a top speed of 159 km/h.

Toyota is partnering with Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD, the bZ3 electric sedan could use the latter’s lithium iron phosphate battery technology. This battery technology is said to have a high energy density, making it safer than other technologies.

However Toyota It itself hasn’t shared any technical or mechanical specs of its upcoming bZ electric sedan, the company having previously stated that its bZ electric vehicle line takes a ‘people-oriented’ approach. centered’ and these EVs will be developed with the aim of serving regions such as China, the US and Europe, where demand for EVs is significantly high.
