“De Bruyne because I admired him so much as a player,” he began. “His vision, his technique, his accuracy.
“Excellent player. The assists and chances created that he makes are terrifying.”
And of Son, Alexander-Arnold added: “Again, an excellent player. Speed, finishing and composure.”
Thankfully for the full-back, who he calls his toughest opponent ever, Player Eden Hazard, no longer playing in the Premier League.
Talking about the Belgian’s qualities, Alexander-Arnold said: “Very skillful and quick. To be honest, he doesn’t really have many weaknesses.
“He dominated his game to perfection. By the time I played against him, he was an all-rounder who excelled in many aspects of the game.
“That’s really hard to deal with.”
But the star of the Red Devils is worthy of praise, having received a ton from none other than Manchester United Legendary Gary Neville, who compared him to Man City’s De Bruyne.
“Alexander-Arnold is an absolute phenomenon when it comes to the quality of his passes, his serves,” Neville said. Podcasts Sky Sports.
“It’s something I’ve never seen before from a full-back.
“He plays at right-back, that’s the highest award I can pay him.”
“They’re exceptionally brilliant, but these two… I don’t think I’ve seen two full-backs play in the Premier League as well as these two as a pair,” the Old Trafford legend insisted.
“The way they mix on the pitch, the way they play the game, they’re an absolute joy.”
