Utilimaster, a trademark of Team ShyftFleet Vehicles & Services business unit, has announced it has worked with Ford Pro to produce two test vehicles built on an all-electric platform. Ford E-Transit Chassis for customer testing.
As the bodywork supplier of choice for the Ford Pro E-Transit test program, Utilimaster designed the Velocity bodywork to accommodate the E-Transit cut. One of the fully electric models comparable to Utilimaster’s Velocity F-Series for customers wearing a gas-powered Transit chassis, but specifically designed for the company’s all-electric architecture E-Transit. The other has the innovative Utilimaster routed delivery body commonly found in the snack food industry.
