The US Geological Survey (USGS) said a 7.8 magnitude earthquake has struck southern Turkey. According to the USGS, the depth of the quake was 24.1 km (14.9 mi), located 23 km (14.2 mi) east of Nurdagi, Gaziantep Province. CNN’s Jomana Karadsheh reports on the earthquake’s impact on the area.
