The Argentina football team received a warm welcome back home when they arrived in Buenos Aires after winning the FIFA World Cup for the third time in Qatar, beating France in the final. Lionel Messi and his men were greeted by millions of fans as they boarded the bus with the world championship trophy in hand. But, an unfortunate incident almost knocked it down rodrigo Paul, Nicolas OtamendiLionel Messi, Leandro Paredes, and Angel di Maria got off the bus when they encountered a thick cable. The Argentinian stars managed to avoid what could have been a horrifying accident.
Paredes was sitting on the very edge of the top deck of the bus but was able to keep his balance despite seeing the thick electric cable rushing towards him. Despite trying to bend over, the Paris Saint-Germain player lost his hat to the cable.

Messi, who was holding the World Cup while sitting in the middle of the group, could be seen laughing at the incident afterwards. Talking about the incident, an Argentine journalist said: “Paredes just lost his hat. What a moment. Be careful boys.”
Before that, Messi was the first to be excluded from the plan to carry the team. He and his teammates were welcomed back by rock band La Mosca singing ‘Muchachos’, a fan-written song to the tune of an old band song.
The group began a tour of downtown Buenos Aires with millions expected to hit the streets over the holiday.
Messi, who scored twice in the final, was the first player to step out of the plane, holding the World Cup trophy aloft, with coach Lionel Scaloni right behind him.
