Nintendo is back with another collaboration. This time it was with Freiberger Lebensmittel GmbH, a German frozen food brand, to create Mario themed frozen pizzas. And eventually, Waluigi will become a star.
According to a Nintendo cord Reportedly, the Mario pizza will come in two boxes with different toppings. The first one will have Mario and Luigi on the box and will come with chorizo sausage, salami and spicy salami. The other will have their evil partners, Wario and Waluigi, on the cover, and the pizza will feature emmental, gorgonzola, mozzarella, and red cheddar.
Nintendo kept Mario busy with other projects later in the year. It makes him and his friends the face of the upcoming show Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios, scheduled to open to the public on February 17, 2023. Meanwhile, Movie Super Mario Bros. hits theaters on April 7, 2023.
Pizza Mario will start hitting shelves on February 6 in Germany. Unfortunately, it’s unknown if these Mario-themed pizzas will ever be available for sale outside of Germany.
