The first trailer for the highly anticipated TV adaptation of Pachinko shows the vast scope of the multigenerational narrative, spanning from the early 1900s to the 1980s.

Based on the critically acclaimed New York Times bestseller by Min Jin Lee, Pachinko follows four generations of a Korean family who immigrate to Japan in the early 20th century, and encounter stigma and racism. The series begins in Korea, focusing on the Sunja matriarchal family, while moving into the 1980s and her grandson Solomon in the United States.
