Women’s T20 Asian Cup: India vs Pakistan on October 7

India will meet arch-rivals Pakistan on October 7 at the Women’s T20 Asian Cup, scheduled to start in Bangladesh’s Sylhet from next month, Asian Cricket Council president Jay Shah announced on Thursday. Three. Seven teams will compete for 15 days, starting from October 1. The tournament is held in a round-robin format with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.

The teams competing in the tournament are India, Pakistan, hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Thailand and Malaysia. Afghanistan has not had a women’s team since the Taliban took over.

India started the campaign on opening day against Sri Lanka.

They host Malaysia (October 3) and the UAE (October 4) in the following days before meeting Pakistan.

India play host Bangladesh on 8 October and round robin match against Thailand on 10 October.


The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will play six matches in 10 days before a semi-final that could happen on October 11 or 13.

The final is scheduled for October 15.
