South Africa clinched a draw in their third game against Australia in Sydney on Sunday, leaving Australia unable to wipe out a series. The hosts needed 14 goals to win the final day of the game, but Proteas comfortably overcame the threat to earn their first draw. The teams shook hands with the remaining five innings and South Africa 106 to double in their second inning. Australia claimed their first inning of 475 to 4 before knocking out South Africa with 255 and then making the next.

Australia won the series against South Africa 2-0 and despite a draw in the final game, they comfortably top the World Test Championship table with a win rate of 75.56 . India comes in second place with a win rate of 58.93.

It’s worth noting that both sides have some really good chances to make it to the final against their almost guaranteed Australia. What makes it look more interesting is the fact that India will take on Australia in a four-match Test series, which starts on 9 February in Nagpur.

Sri Lanka is in third place with a win rate of 53.33 and they are also in a serious race for a place in the WTC finals, however, they need some other results in their favor besides winning two upcoming Test matches in New Zealand.

Here is the updated WTC scoreboard:
