Microsoft announced Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct, a new game showcase that “gives fans an insight into some of the games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass over the next few months.”
It will air on January 25 and features Xbox studios like Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios. This Developer Live program will “focus on big features, showcase expanded gameplay, and the latest information on Xbox games coming out over the next few months”, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall.
You might notice a galactic-sized absence in this lineup: Starfield. Fret not, Xbox says a standalone Starfield show is in the works “to give the right amount of time to dig into” about the game.
As for what to expect for each game, Xbox has detailed that as well. For The Elder Scrolls Online, ZeniMax Online Studios will unveil a major 2023 chapter update, which “includes the latest areas of Tamriel playable in ESO, as well as an important new feature that will be available in the release.” The game’s biggest update this year.” The full “ESO chapter reveal event” will follow this Developer Live. As for Forza Motorsport, Turn 10 Studios will share more gameplay and new details about the game.
Mojang Studios will showcase a new look at Minecraft Legends’ upcoming PvP multiplayer experience, and Arkane Austin will “introduce minutes of gameplay” from Redfall, including both single-player and multiplayer. Fans can expect to learn more about combat, customization, bosses, open worlds, and more, according to Xbox.
Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct airs Wednesday, January 25, at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET.
