Zozibini Tunzi pays tribute to her late friend Cheslie Kryst; ‘I am not ready for a world you don’t exist in’
Taking to Instagram, Zozi expressed her distrust and expressed deep trust in the late queen. She wrote, “Cheslie, my friend, I am devastated. I hadn’t slept, caught between not believing the news and trying to understand what was happening. You had to send me pictures of the outfit you were going to wear to a wedding last Saturday and all the details that happened at the event. You have surprised me, Queen. I’m not ready for a world where you don’t exist.”
The 30-year-old was crowned Miss America in 2019 and since then, the diva has become an inspiration to many across the globe. Just seconds before her death, Cheslie took to Instagram with a post with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and serenity.”
“I hope you are resting now, love. You mean it all to so many people, and you will forever. You have made your mark in this World and touched so many lives. We celebrate your life. I love you so much, my forever friend and forever Miss America❤ beautiful RIP 🕊❤” Zozi concluded.
While some sources say that Cheslie left a letter saying that she wanted to leave everything to her mother, it did not mention the reason for her actions.
